# Support tool

Before downloading, please make sure to disable [real-time protection](https://revware.gitbook.io/kodexa-guide/start-here/support-tool/disable-antivirus-software) in your Virus & Threat Protection settings.

Once you run the support tool, **please press “1” on your keyboard** to continue.

When running the support tool, **only complete the steps marked with red labels**. You can skip the others.

This will focus on the critical fixes needed.
